How to Remove Ballpoint Pen Ink Stains From Fabric

Ink stains on clothing is something most people have to deal with at one point or the other. Ink can be pretty tough to get out, but most ballpoint pen ink stains come out with lots of persistence and patience. Test on similar scraps of fabric before proceeding.

1.Sponge the stain with water to remove as much ink as possible.

2.Allow the spot to dry.

Pentech 47491 SpinZ Axis Pen Assortment

First off, this is a review of how well the Spinz Axis performs as a spinning pen--although it writes well too (with the inclusion of two refill ink tubes). "Spinz" totes itself as being the first commercially-available spinning pen (that's true at least for sales in the U.S.A.), and the Axis performs well right out of the box. In the past, avid penspinners resorted to modifying their own pens in order to make them more spinnable (for example rebalancing them or equipping them with better grips so they don't slip out as easily when performing routines). Here's how the Axis compares with some of the more popular penspinning modifications:

Length: The Axis is roughly the same length as a standard Bictory modded pen without tips (made with two Bic Round Stic pens). That's a good length for most practitioners.

Width/Thickness: The Axis is roughly the same thickness as an RSVP MX mod (made with RSVP and HGG pens), which makes it easier to manipulate.

Mont Blanc MEISTERSTUCK CLASSIC BALLPOINT PEN

You won't find a better ball-pen than this one. They write very smooth and even.
It has a beautiful design. By its weight and the curves of its body, you have a firm and steady grip on the ball-pen.
In short: it's a work of art. If you don't use the pen for a few days the ink will dry up a little but when you use it again it regains its smoothness very rapidly. This is the best ball-pen you can buy.

This is not my first fountain pen but it is the first Montblanc I have. Very good product, good performance and excellent quality. I strongly recommend it.

MontBlanc Meisterstuck Legrand Fountain Pen Black (Broad) 146 / 13662

I purchased this writing instrument in Japan a little under a year ago and out of the small collection of fountain pens I own, it is the one I use the most for my Spencerian style handwriting. The broad nib allows for a smooth and comfortable feel on even the simplest strokes and the girth of the barrel is just right for even someone with smaller hands (such as myself) when writing long letters or taking precise notes. The piston filling system is also much more economical and less dependent on proprietary parts than other fountain pens I've used with cartridges and flexible bladders.

My only complaint would be that the "precious resin" used in the construction of the barrel and cap is rather fragile considering the price. It chips and cracks easily so the utmost care should be taken if it is carried around on your person while working or traveling. Luckily Mont Blanc will repair any component for a fraction of the cost (about 1/3) of a complete replacement, so it's not too much of a problem even if you do happen to let it drop to the floor from desk height or push the cap down too firmly onto the barrel before writing.

Also, as it is a luxury item it is best to follow the instructions given by the manufacturer regarding what inks ought to be used. Although it is possible to use other branded inks (such as Pilot) small factors such as the shape of the inkwell and minute differences in the composition of the inks can cause some problems with build-up of particulates that may negatively effect the pen's ink flow. This problem is easily solved by taking it to a Mont Blank store for cleaning (which is a free service), but I imagine it would be better these days to save time and money to just buy the proper ink in the first place.

Parker Urban Fine Writing Medium Point Gel Pen, 1 Black Ink, Black Barrel Pen (35912)

I like the gel cartriges. This pen writes evenly and there is no mess. The gel doesn't leak or smudge the paper. The physical design is very attractive as many have complimented me on it. It may seem expensive, but pens like this are actually cheaper than the disposable ones. A lot of disposable pens malfunction and are thrown away before the cartridge is used up or they dry out or leak. Also, the cheap pens are the ones people tend to lose.

The manufacturer has a life-time user guarantee against malfunctions. If the pen malfunctions with normal use, you can send it back and they'll replace it for free. Just don't drop it and or let someone step on it!

Montblanc Generation Rollerball Pen 13420

I took a chance on a new seller on my first Amazon purchase. And I am totally and fully pleased. The seller put a lot into the experience and went above and beyond. My order came with a greeting card, hand written, that thanked me for my purchase and noted that they had included two pen refills and a signature Monte Blanc case for my special purchase of a Monte Blanc pen. They also apologized that my order took a little longer to reach me due to the pen having to come from overseas.
I am thrilled with my purchase. It is a Graduation gift that will most definitely bring a smile.

Montblanc Generation Black Rollerball Pen 7386

I've been a Waterman fan all of my life, but I was given this Mont Blanc at my last job as a going-away present. The pen is wonderful. I use it every day and it feels great. The ink flows beautifully, and it fits perfectly in the hand with a nice balance. I highly recommend it...

Cross Contour Ballpoint Pen, Medium Point, Chrome Barrel, Black

This is a 1/2 way decent pen. It is nice and heavy and easy to write with. It also seems to be shaped at just the right thickness for my hand as well.

Pentech Matisse Roller Pens 1ct

This is fantastic, I know the refill is the heart of it, but the grip is important too. Actually, the refill can go to balzes. I like the feel, so I found the perfect refill: The Uniball Jetstream refill. The one for the stick pen needs to have the black plug removed from the end of it, but the click pen version does not have one. Available in "bold" and fine point, it is the smoothest feeling pen refill I have ever used, and inside a Pentech Matisse, I may never look for a better pen again. Seriously, try it, you might LOVE it.

The quality is comperable to a $50 pen and the feel is unbeatable. My advice is to get one before they disappear - as so many good things do.

One word of caution: they come in so many colours and finishes, you might want to get one over the counter. I have four, and the black laquer finish one like that shown is wonderful, and it is brass under laquer paint. Some have a rubbery coating and other colours and they feel a little weird. Just FYI.

Parker Jotter Retractable Ballpoint Pen, Medium, Stainless Steel with Black/Blue or Red Barrel, Black Ink (78033)

For all the thousands of pens available this pen is by far the best value for the dollar. Simple, elegant, inexpensive and no pen cap to lose. My recommendation: buy more than one and give the extra pens to the people who sit next to you at the office. They will thank you.
